Acro Yoga in Rhodes

Elevate Your Practice with Adventure and Balance

Acro Yoga is a dynamic practice combining elements of yoga, acrobatics, and Thai massage. It promotes trust, communication, and teamwork. Participants assume roles like base, flyer, and spotter while practicing various transitions, poses, and therapeutic exercises. Classes in Rhodes last 1 hour and 30 minutes and include a warm-up, main class, and cool-down.

In an Acro Yoga class, participants often take on different roles, such as the base (the person lying on their back on the floor), the flyer (the person being lifted off the ground), and the spotter (the person ensuring the safety of the base and the flyer). These roles are usually alternated during the session.

Classes last 1 hour and 30 minutes and are divided into the following stages: warm-up, main class, and cool-down. The warm-up and conditioning last 15-20 minutes and consist of exercises for mobilization, learning the basic principles of acrobatics, and trust-building exercises. The main class includes L-Base acrobatics, and the cool-down focuses on body recovery to prevent injuries.
